No.263, aired June 11, 2014.
A slightly grim second-last episode. I didn’t take good notes but I’m pretty sure I played more of the book of Ezekiel. Theme turned out to be the interplay of birth and death. If I had planned it ahead of time I would have included GWAR’s Womb With A View – “so your womb can become the tomb of my dead baby.” But that’s OK because Nomeansno’s Body Bag has “Is it a womb or is it a tomb – or is it something completely different?” Also note accidental inclusion of the band Dayglo Abortions and two tracks from the Butthole Surfers’ album Abortion Locust Technician. All further proof that the id is a better DJ than the ego. Let the tomb of this program be the womb of another.
